The science of LOVE

Seems that everywhere you turn
You can't avoid the fact that
Valentine's Day is coming right up
Or as some people may say
Single Awareness Day

Listen to this interesting fact I saw from this mag

THE BLUSH OF LOVE
Caused by the sudden arousal of the sympathetic nervous system.
Given the right stimulous, the nerve prompt blood vessels to open
wide and causing redness of face. Also caused by a hormon called
phenylethylamine (PEA) which affects our mood and emotions.
[you can't control it, so breathe deeply. It helps prevent and disperse
you PEA level]

THE SCENT OF LOVE
The smell of your beloved will register as tiny particles in your brain
through your nose's receptors. Your brain will decode these "messages"
and imprint you beloved's scent into your memory.
[A girl's scent can make a man's pulse race and boost her overall appearance]

THE TOUCH OF LOVE
Oxytoxin is the "cuddle chemical" hormone responsible for our feelings
of attachment to our partner. In the brain, oxytoxin is involved in social
recognition and bonding, and might be involved in the formation of trust
between people.
[oxytoxin is released in small doses when you kiss, hug or touch]

THE SWEETNESS OF LOVE
When you break up with your boyfriend, it's not unusual for you to
turn to chocolates for comfort. It's because chocolates trigger our
endorphin levels which act as a stimulant to decrease stress and lessen pain.
[exercising triggers "feel-good" chemicals and lifts up your mood.]

THE RUSH OF LOVE
Norepinephrine is similiar to aderaline and produces a racing heart,
excitement and higher blood pressure. Thus causing you to breathe
heavily which increases oxygen intake and can sometimes result as
the "light-headed" feeling people describe when they fall in love.
Increased levels of norepinephrine lead to arousal and mood
elevation, making you feel good and secure while sharing time with
your crush.
[Excessive levels of norepinephrine provoke negative emotions such as
sleeplessness, anxiety, fear and loss of appetite. No wonder people who
are in love have a hard time sleeping and eating.]

Ahh... the wonders of Love Science
So does this still come under bio or chem?

The chemistry of LOVE..
