Ahh.. A day back in Malacca.

 

What's a trip back to Malacca without a trip to the city area?

Her all time favorite.

After spending half a day in Dataran Pahlawan,
It was off for some curry laksa I have been craving for!

The restaurant is like in a damn secluded area
The shop is up the stairway.
but, it was packed full with customers.

It's called Donald's and Lily's Nyonya Food
Near the clock tower, next to the river.
It's on the opposite of the water wheel.

Their specialty, Tauhu Rojak

The cendol was perfect!

Asam Fish.

Not the best curry laksa ever but
GOOD enough to satisfy my craving.

Apparently,
Ho Chak has been here before! XD

Went into this cheongsam shop
Which apparently has damn nice cheongsam!

This just looked like some normal pathway.

This was what was behind those gates.
Amazing much?
Looks like a secret path to some magical world.

That just sums up my day 2 in kampung.
I just love jonker street!

Serom Trip Day 1 =)

Went back to Serom and Malacca on Saturday morning, just came back to KL.

Was so bored through out the whole journey,
Thanks to mum who gave me the canon camera..
Entertained myself with it the whole way through.. XD

They have like 6 calendars on this wall.

Totally skipped the half of schoolday today.
I mean.. 3/4 of school day today.
Only went back for the last two periods
Hurried like a mad hell, doing add maths homework.

A big scene is happening in the house behind me now.
I can hear a lady and a man shouting in chinese.
Something about someone hitting somebody.
Can hear the doors slamming shut and banging open.
The lady's like crying or something..

Omg.. damn scary larr..
Hope nothing's wrong.. o.O

It's all quiet now.
I wonder what had happened?

God, please give me the strength,

- to stay up through 5 periods of physics tomorrow.
- to not find an excuse to skip the lesson.
- to actually listen to what Cik Liang is trying to say.
- to TRY to understand what she is teaching.
- to just be sane after all the physics.

Why can't we just choose the subjects we want to study?
Why can't we just take the path we want?
Why do I have to study all this that I won't use after form 5?

Why didn't I just spare myself the pain and go to art stream?
Bah~!

China Milk Scandal

If you have not read the news recently,
Here's a little flashback to what you have missed.

China's tainted product crisis has extended to liquid milk,
the nation's watchdog agency said Friday,
as Starbucks dumped a supplier in China.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision,
Inspection and Quarantine said milk sold in liquid form
by three leading Chinese dairies is contaminated with melamine,
the industrial chemical that as been linked to the deaths of four
infants and illnesses in 6,200 others.

A report posted Friday on the agency's Web site says test results
showed nearly 10 percent of samples taken from
Mengniu Dairy Group Co. and Yili Industrial Group Co. —
China's two largest dairy companies — contained
up to 8.4 milligrams of melamine per kilogram.

milk scandal recently :

- Mento's Yogurt bottle
- Dove Chocolate
- Oreo wafer sticks
- Monmilk
- Dutch lady sterilized milk
- Wall's all natural mango
- mini poppers ice cream
- Magnum ice cream
- MooSandwich ice cream
-Mini Cornetto
- Youcan ice cream

Stores have been asked by AVA singapore to remove them.
If you have any of these items at home,
You are advised to not eat them.

Yeah, quickly run to your fridge now.
Check if you have any of these in them.
If you're eating one right now, stop eating it!

A day of Malaysian food

Today, I have ate twice of nasi lemak, curry laksa and keropok lekor.
Why?
Beats me!

Started of in the morning after dropping my sis off at
sri KDU for swimming lessons.
We went over to uptown's Kopi Kemaman next to balai polis

The pricing's quite reasonable.
According to my mum, the sambal is really good.
I ordered the dry curry mee which isn't that dry at all

Proud to say our canteen's lekor tastes better.

In the afternoon, it was off to bangsar village.
I find their parking ticket very pretty.. XD
Mum got herself a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet.

Off to lunch at Chawan's which is opposite of BV
The interior of the shop is really interesting.

Ordered curry laksa again >.<
But still it disappointed me.

The nasi lemak was okay okay only larrr.

The lekor was not bad though...

Anyone with any recommendation of good curry laksa?
I am STILL craving for a nice hot bowl of it.
