Emo-ness, much?

There're times in life
Where you have to make changes
Changes that you may not like
Changes that others may not like
Changes that'll change what you're right now

There's also times in life where you have to make decisions
Big decisions
Small decisions
Split seconds one
Life changing ones
Heart breaking ones

When you were still a little kid,
Teacher/doctor seems like the best job to be

When you got older,
You start to slowly search for the 'it' job

When you're 16,
It doesn't leave you much more time,
To go search for that one thing you want to be

When you turn 17,
That one choice you make
It's gonna stick with you forever
Your future is so gonna depend on it

Have you really given it a thought?
A long serious thought...
What would you like to major in?
And what if you don't get it?
Or what are you gonna do to make sure you get it?

Everything needs a goal,
An aim to reach to..
When there's a goal,
You will tend to have that will to do it

When we step into the world of adults..
It will be a totally different world
It's a jungle out there
And you'll have to learn to protect yourself
No more getting allowance from parents
No more skipping school/work just because you felt like it
No one to teach you to do your job right
There will be no tuition on how you should work to become a success
Everything will have to be on your own

Friends may drift away
Due to the studies
Due to work
Some may be already far far away
[not dead, studying abroad]

It's a scary thought that I don't even know what to major in
Or what's the goal of my life
Like why am I even here for..
I need to find an inspiration
Or a goal
Or an aim
And start working towards it...

I was fine before you

walked into my life

Cause you know it's over

before it begins

Now everything matters

Nothing's ever gonna be the same
