Aqilah came pick me up at two today. We headed over to Zafira’s house and her brother dropped us off at KL Hilton. We were waiting for the guys who turned out to be super late. Appointment was at 3.00, at 3.15, we saw Hariz, Cher Haow and Eric slowly walking into the lobby. Met up with the manager who I thought was not very friendly. The ballroom was not very nice and the pricing was.. “additional charge” this.. “additional charge” that. Seriously.. the ballroom is already expensive, plus the additional charges? Fuiyoh.. GG!
Then we took LRT to KLCC [which we could have just taken a monorail or gotten of and an earlier station] and walked a bloody big round under the scorching hot sun. It took us in a big circle back to where we started. I swear, the only thing that kept me sane was the EOS 40D Canon SLR. We were all ready to kill Hariz when he finally decided to take a cab to the second hotel. Due to the fact we had 6 people, we had to split cabs.
The second hotel’s ballroom is goddamn amazing! The price.. a little costly then we expected but it’s so much better than KL Hilton. Not to mention the girl was so helpful, kind and friendly. Seriously, they should like promote her or something. She was so friendly throughout the whole tour and answered all our questions. She even offered to treat us drinks but we just stuck to cold water. She even walked us to the LRT station even though it was after her working hours already.
We took a LRT back to Taman Bahagia. Me, Aqilah and Zafira took a cab back home. The ride was one hell of a scary ride. Aqilah was like about to swear out loud in the car.
