How many times do you listen to a hit single and think… I wonder who wrote this song?
Most times, people just comment. How great the song is. How great the singer is. The songwriter who silently sits in the dark while the singer bask under the spotlight of many. It was he/she whom have went through so many sleepless nights to perfect that one song for the singer. Sure they credited the songwriter/composer on the CD, but how many of us really did care?
Ghost writers. No, they are not writers who write stories only about ghost. They are those who work so hard in perfecting an article and to be published off as someone else’s work. Yup, amazing how this world can work huh? You can hire a ghost writer to write the story of “your” life and then you self publish it as your own work.
How many times have you watched a stage play and thought, “wow, the person who did the props did an amazing job!” ?
How many times have you looked at a picture of a model and thought, “Wow, the makeup artist is amazing!” ?
Honestly, I don’t think I have ever. It’s just I was listening to this Malaysian songwriter whose songs are popular but no one even knows him. The reason how I found him was cause Zhang Xue You invited him as his guest star during his concert in M’sia and only did people started knowing the name.
