Ignorance is a bliss.. Been living in total oblivion for awhile now.
Tried to brush the problems aside as they come.
Whether you choose to ignore it or avoid it, it will always return to haunt you.
How many lies, how many truth.
Behind that smile plastered on their faces.
You’ll never know or realize till it’s too late to make amendments.
How to act, what to say?
When it all comes into the light.
No longer hidden by the lies, everything has been brought to face.
When the other party is still oblivion to it.
What benefits do you get out of it?
When you’re too afraid to say anything that might hurt yourself back.
Because, you’re tired.
You’re tired of being the last one.
You’re tired of being the fourth musketeer, which fail to exist.
Maybe, you tell yourself.
Maybe if you had tried harder,
Maybe if you had been a better person, everything might still remain the same.
Deep down inside, you know.
You know it’s a lie.
You know it’s not your fault but you needed someone to pin the blame on.
It’s always the same case.
You never escape from the plot.
Everything was so nicely planned before it became a lie.
But when they say,
Two’s company, three’s a crowd.
They meant it.
