my new desktop background. A tribute to the producer of the best animations around. Wonderfully twisted I should say. She’s a mastermind of “Childrin R Skary”. Her animations are all about little kids who are sick and twisted with an amazing twist at the endings.

Been listening to a lot of old songs lately. Not oldies but older mainstream kind of songs mixed with some of the currently overplayed songs on the radio. Also, I have been watching those cartoons we used to love as kids and I still love them. Shows like Little Lulu, Tom and Jerry, Popeye and sailor man, Bob the builder and Pokemon. The cartoons we used to watch were so simple. Now, the cartoons on Tvs are like.. deep with meaning for adults to watch. Gahh.. potong steam.

Damn, I feel so freaking materialistic right now. All the gadgets are so freaking cool and yeng but so expensive. The book is the only uneletrical object that but still it’s expensive. =p

Hand me the remote control to life.

The pause button seems frighteningly tempting as it is placed in front. Staring at life moving past as fast as though it was on fast motion. She lets out a sigh. She placed the remote back on the coffee table. She lay back on the couch. Massaging her temples as the noise around her drown out her silent cries. She lean forwards and pushes the pause button. Everything seemed to have stop in their tracks. Silence, she thought.

Standing up, she seemed unaffected by the pause. She finally lets out a long deep sigh. It has been awhile since she had been able to walk around without worrying. She picks up her phone. It's off, she silently thought. Even if it was on, it wouldn't ring anyway. She stepped out of her house, everything was on hold. Even the wind who was playing with the leaves awhile ago had stopped in mid air. The little boy running away from his mum to avoid yet another spanking.

She knew sooner or later she would have to press the play button again. She sat by the beach staring at the sun going down. When was the last time she had seen a sunset? She couldnt recall. Feeling the warm grains of sand moving beneath her feet with every step she took. She grabbed a handful of them and watch as they slid through the tiny gaps between her fingers. Just like time, they slipped away so quickly.

She heard a movement from behind her. Another one of her kind. She turns around to see who was it. The minute she spun around, she felt a hard object come in contact of her skull. Someone snickered. She closed her eyes and drifted off into a deep deep sleep.

Sayonara Junior Camp 2008

Been away for three days at sayonara junior camp to become a facilitator. Definitely a fun filled experience though a very tiring one. Lost my voice. Muscle aching. Sleep lacking. but.. totally satisfying. =)

28/11/08 – Day One [meeting new kids]

So, we were suppose to go up to kids and introduce ourselves and meet new friends, entertained them at the same time. So, sue san and I went up to this little kid.

Sue San :” Hi, are you alone?”

I think she probable scared the little kid away. LoLX!

Dinner

First day of camp was already really really tiring and it felt like two days altogether. “Were number ONE not two not three not four, We’re gonna win not lose not tie the score. Gooooooo Forest!” By the first day, half my voice was already gone. A phone call kind of destroy my mood for awhile but it was okay after awhile. =)

We had to train the kids for the Sayonara Junior Camp Idol. The song our group got was “you’ll be in my heart”. With a little actions added here and there, they were willing to learn the song after many many many persuading-s from their faci-s.By the time we got back to our dorm, everyone fell asleep quite quickly. The room was air-conditioned man. *grins*

29/11/08 – Day two [Sun burnt + Sayonara Junior Idol]

Kicked started the day with puja and then followed by breakfast [chee cheong fun and porridge]. If I remembered correctly, I think we had house meeting after that. The kids were kinda dead from the lack of sleep but were soon pretty much awake as they were briefed on going to the beach.

On the bus, I sat next to this little kid [one of the twins]. Boy did he have lots and lots of questions to ask.

All sleeping already. The seats were really really comfy.

Say Cheese!

Everyone was really tired after that, with a really bad sunburn. The bus was so cold and comfy! After going back to Shah Alam, we continued the games and everything else. We played a twister twister game which was fun but tiring when the kids didn’t feel like cooperating. Jonathan started putting his leg in front of my face and asking me to lick it. Annoying little brat by uber cute at times.

Forest got second for Idols! *sniff sniff* The kids did sing their hearts out on the stage. So proud of them!

30/11/08 – Last day [bye people. =(]

Just like yesterday, day was kicked start with Puja and then followed by morning exercise. For morning exercise was the Banana Dance, Watermelon Dance and Ultra man Dance. Breakfast was fried beehoon with curry. Kids were told to pack up after that. Being in charged of the dormitories, we cleaned the place up till the floor shone! [exaggerating much?]

This kid was the reason for his two faci-s losing their voices!

So we had to play a game where we had to run after one of the committee given in the clue. “Looks like a gangster but filled with love deep inside, tall and skinny, hardly seen.” The kids straight away started running everywhere. It’s very very hard to take care of 8 little kids when they don’t agree on what each other says. The committee has to run away every time the kids catches them. So it was really tiring. Joey kept helping us and pointing to us where he was. =) Highlight of the game?

That’s all the pictures I have in my camera. =) Didn’t get to take much cause was involved in the activities most of the time. Prolly my last camp before being grounded till next year after SPM? *GASP* The horror man!!

It was definitely a  sleep lacking, voice losing, friends making, kind-a stressing, energy draining, mind boggling, experience gaining, kid-sitting, lotsa laughing, brain storming camp. Definitely worth every second of it!

On the other hand, after the fun fun fun stuffs, when came back. It was onto the other responsibilities again. The ones that haunt me even in camps. Very happy now since using my designs! Wheeee~ That five hours, neck ache, butt ache, brain ache, eye ache were not wasted at all! So guys! Go for the event kayz?
